We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect with a background in Urban Planning and a minimum of 10 years of professional experience.

The ideal candidate will take a leading role in the design and planning of architectural and urban development projects, ensuring that all concepts, plans, and technical deliverables meet project requirements, client expectations, and regulatory standards.

This role requires effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and external stakeholders, with a focus on creating sustainable, functional, and well-integrated urban environments. The selected candidate will also contribute to strategic design decisions, project reviews, and quality control throughout the development process.

• Lead the preparation of architectural concepts, design packages, and detailed drawings for various project types.
• Support the development of master plans, land‑use strategies, and urban design solutions for large‑scale and mixed‑use developments.
• Coordinate with planning, landscape, infrastructure, and MEP teams to ensure seamless project integration.
• Review and ensure compliance with local regulations, authorities' requirements, and international best practices.
• Conduct site analyses, feasibility studies, and design assessments to guide planning and development decisions.
• Prepare presentations, reports, diagrams, and visual materials to communicate design and planning proposals to clients and authorities.
• Review consultant submissions, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to project guidelines and objectives.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and liaise with relevant government authorities for planning and building approvals.
• Contribute to the development of design standards, urban design guidelines, and planning frameworks within the consultancy.
• Mentor junior architects and provide technical guidance as needed.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Architecture, with proven involvement in urban planning, master planning, or large‑scale development projects.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar's building codes, planning regulations, and authority approval processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (required).
• Experience working in Qatar (required).
• Master's degree or certification in Urban Planning, Urban Design, or related fields (preferred).
• MMUP/UPDA certification (preferred).
• Proficiency in design and planning tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, GIS, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite.
