- Organize, monitor, and maintain clinical services within the department to achieve the highest possible level of patient care while optimizing available resources.
- Maintain a clinical schedule to provide timely and comprehensive medical services to patients.
- Assume direct responsibility for patients under your medical attendance in the assigned unit.
- Refer patients requiring specialized care to specialists and other health providers within the affiliated network while respecting patient preference and insurer determination.
- Participate in committees for upgrading services and organizing work within and outside the hospital.
- Engage in system quality improvement and risk management programs, including reporting patient occurrences, continuing medical education, and reviewing medical records for legal and risk issues.
- Perform all relevant interventions related to your field of specialization.
- Participate in scheduling on‑call duties and provide on‑call services as required.
- Participate in the assessment and updating of drug, medical supply, and equipment needs.
- Write, complete, and approve medical records and reports for patients.
