SR. CIVIL/STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (OFFSHORE)

Provide technical design and engineering services in Civil/Structural Engineering (Offshore) for all assigned engineering projects, achieving technical quality of work in accordance with Qatar Energy procedures while considering quality, schedule, cost, and HSE.
Required Experience and Skills- 10 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry.
- Conduct Civil/Structural Engineering (Offshore) Engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects from initial concept definition through engineering studies, FEED, detailed design and commissioning.
- Develop, update and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities, contribute to external FEED/EPIC scheduling activities and effective project delivery.
- Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance.
- Review and evaluate Contract Changes/Variations against approved guidelines and practices.
- Identify and utilize relevant engineering standards and codes related to Civil/Structural Engineering (Offshore).
- Proven ability to manage time, cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment.
- Good communication and presentation skills with fluency in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status or equivalent preferable.
