Country Engineering Manager

Job Description
- Develop and maintain effective engineering work processes.
Mentor and develop leaders within the engineering team.
Have a full understanding of the interdependencies of all engineering disciplines.
Ensure that the expectations and agreed requirements are met, including service to the ultimate client, profitability, and delivery of projects.
Lead Engineering activities in Qatar.
Develop and maintain a dynamic engineering organization, ensuring the availability of competent, high-performing personnel and managing the engineering talent pool.
Be responsible for Qatar engineering budgets.
Be accountable for the resolution of engineering and design-related challenges.
Develop and improve relationships with the company's clients.
Actively assist in the development of repeat orders and new business.

Qualifications and

Experience:

Degree in engineering.
15 years of experience in engineering, including a minimum of five years in management of engineering in an office providing engineering design services.
Post-graduate qualification in management or administration is desirable.
Good understanding of computer-based project tools.
Experience working in a matrix organization.
Successful work-sharing experience.
