Project Manager, Environmental Engineer, Water Management

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Project Manager – Sewerage Treatment to lead the delivery of complex wastewater infrastructure projects across Qatar. This role is instrumental in supporting national master planning efforts and ensuring the successful implementation of sewerage treatment systems aligned with regulatory and environmental standards.

• Lead the full lifecycle of sewerage treatment projects, including feasibility, design, permitting, construction, and commissioning.
• Manage complex infrastructure and master planning projects involving foul sewer, TSE (Treated Sewage Effluent), and SGW (Surface and Ground Water) systems.
• Coordinate with Ashghal, local municipalities, and environmental agencies to ensure compliance with Qatar’s regulatory frameworks.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes.
• Engage with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Monitor environmental impact and ensure adherence to Qatar’s sustainability and safety standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 18 years of experience in sewerage treatment or wet utilities project management.
• At least 2 years of experience managing complex infrastructure and master planning projects involving foul sewer, TSE, and SGW.
• Demonstrated experience in managing at least two national or regional masterplans.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), Ashghal standards, and local permitting processes.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with deep sewer networks, pumping stations, and treatment plant technologies.
• Familiarity with Qatar’s infrastructure development plans and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in project management tools and technical documentation.
