Overview
Provide technical design and engineering services in Civil/Structural Engineering (Offshore) for all assigned engineering projects. Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with Qatar Energy procedures, whilst considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE.
Experience- 10 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry.
- Conduct Civil/Structural Engineering (Offshore) Engineering activities and in‑house site surveys for projects, from initial concept definition phase through to engineering studies, FEED, detailed design and commissioning.
- Develop, update and monitor schedules for in‑house engineering activities, contribute to external FEED/EPIC scheduling activities and effective project delivery.
- Conduct evaluation of technical bid packages for scope compliance.
- Review and evaluate the Contract Changes/Variation to approved guidelines and practices.
- Ability to identify and utilize relevant engineering standards and Codes related to Civil/Structural Engineering (Offshore) Engineering.
- Proven ability to manage time, cost and quality in engineering projects within a multiple project environment.
- Good communications and presentations skills with fluency in English.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status or equivalent preferable.
