Our client, one of the world`s largest Oil and Gas Operating Companies are looking to appoint a Senior Completion Engineer to work with their team in Qatar. The successful candidate will prepare completion programmes and oversee the execution of the programme at rig site.
Key responsibilities:
* Perform all completion engineering duties relating to assigned onshore rigs.
* Prepare detailed completion programmes based on requirements in the well prognosis.
* Organise and arrange all completion services and ensure all contractors are aware of the completion schedule.
* Monitor operations on the assigned rig
* Assist in the supervision of operations at the rig site during the running of completion equipment.
* Prepare the final well completion operations reports.
* Provide technical and operational advice on down hole completion and wellhead well design.
* Assist in the preparation of tender documents for contracts relating to completion services or equipment.
Mentor and train junior engineers.
* Endure data files are updated and maintained.
Key skills / attributes:
* Degree qualified
* 10 years completion engineering / drilling engineering / well site operations experience
Excellent communication skills
