Industrial Hygiene Engineer

Contract Duration: 01-Apr-2026 to 31-Dec-2027 (with possibility to extend)
About the RoleWe are seeking an Industrial Hygiene Engineer to assess, monitor, and manage workplace industrial hygiene risks across chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic hazards. The role includes implementing control measures, performing workplace assessments, supporting industrial hygiene strategy, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards in both offshore and onshore operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) projects.
- Conduct workplace exposure assessments and implement risk control measures for chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic hazards.
- Perform hazardous substance measurements and monitoring on offshore platforms, storage/offloading vessels, and production sites.
- Review and maintain Industrial Hygiene Risk Assessment Files (IHRAF) for production sites and HQ facilities.
- Conduct noise surveys, dosimetry, heat stress inspections, and vibration risk assessments.
- Perform Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) assessments for office and accommodation facilities.
- Deliver awareness campaigns and train Associate/Developee Industrial Hygiene Engineers.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with industrial hygiene and safety standards.
- Prepare high-quality reports, assessments, and recommendations for management and regulatory compliance.
- Certified Industrial Hygienist or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial hygiene assessment or risk management, preferably in the oil & gas industry.
- Knowledge of industrial hygiene standards, offshore operations, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with photoionization detectors (PID), gas chromatographs, Class 1 sound meters, and WBGT meters.
- Fit to work offshore in high-temperature environments.
- Proficient in English with excellent report-writing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to train and mentor junior engineers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and offshore teams.
