As a Senior Engineering Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel to ensure all facilities, systems, and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with hotel standards. You support the Chief Engineer in energy conservation initiatives, preventive maintenance programs, and regulatory compliance, while leading and developing the Engineering Team on assigned shifts.

Ensure that all Engineering standards, polices, and guidelines are followed.

Responsible for the duty schedule of shift staff, Job allocation to achieve high employee productivity in the department.

Ensures that Guests and inter-department requests or complaints are attended to, promptly & efficiently.

Monitors HLP consumption on a daily basis & controls the wasteful energy during the respective shifts.

Ensures that employees in the department perform as per organizational standards.

Responsible for the maintenance of all equipment/systems as per required standards.

Effective implementation of PM schedules & records to be maintained.

Effective use of existing resources and curtail wasteful R&M expenses on a regular basis.

Optimizes savings on energy expenses by implementing energy conservation programs.

Ensures that area of operation meets high-class service standards to the Guests and other departments.

• Advanced knowledge of building management/engineering
• A degree in Engineering or similar
• Exposure to budgeting and basic accounting
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
• Strong leadership skills and previous experience of managing a team
• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work on their own
• Previous experience of facilities management
• Proficient, at an advanced level, with computers and relevant computer programs
