Responsibilities- Contributing to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations.
- Ensuring customer retention by delivering superior customer experience and effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.
- Taking actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB, in close cooperation with customer and other ABB teams.
- Capability to transfer high complexity project requirements into ABB technical solutions.
- Coaching technicians and engineers and supervising complex site activities.
- Multidiscipline support.
- Effective utilization of service contracts.
- Working in service projects and major projects for Infi
90 / symphony based system 800xA system. - Rendering technical validation of design solutions in medium and complex projects.
- Graduate Engineer in Electrical/ Electronic/ instrumentation Engineering.
- Must have minimum 8 years of experience of which at least 5 years as customer support / project / service engineer of System 800xA based Infi
90 / Symphony systems preferably in Oil & Gas / Power & Water industry. - Good hands‑on experience as Senior Engineer for system 800xA based control system (both hardware and software) with Infi
90 / symphony Plus / system 800xA based application development – project & commissioning. - Hands‑own experience in system installation and maintenance.
- Hands on Experience in Industrial networking, network switch configuration.
- Hands on experience in Cyber security solutions for 800x A systems. Able to do cybersecurity audits and assessments, Cyber security implementation experience.
- Be an analytical thinker, self‑starter, resilient and highly adaptable – in line with ABB’s latest advance service & digital portfolio.
- Hands on Experience in industrial communication protocols like Modbus‑ RTU & TCP, OPC etc.
- Be able to work under pressure, handle stress and have the ability to use own initiative.
- Highly adaptive, analytic and quick learner – inline with ABB’s latest advance service & digital portfolio.
- Giving trainings to customers.
- Working in offshore installed bases.
