MEP Engineer

We are seeking a skilled MEP Engineer to design, manage, and oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for construction and fit‑out projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed designs, coordinating with project teams, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and maintaining quality throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires technical expertise, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Develop detailed MEP designs, layouts, calculations, and technical drawings.
• Conduct load calculations, equipment sizing, and system modeling (HVAC, electrical, fire protection, plumbing).
• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and material proposals.
• Coordinate with architects, civil/structural teams, and contractors to ensure smooth integration of MEP systems.
• Attend coordination meetings, resolve design conflicts, and manage on‑site technical issues.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and quality of work.
• Implement quality control procedures for MEP works.
• Ensure safety regulations and industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, IPC, etc.) are followed.
• Conduct site inspections, system performance checks, and audits.
• Prepare technical reports, BOQs, specifications, and project documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of design changes, approvals, and project correspondence.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional certifications (LEED, PMP, PE, etc.) are a plus.
• 2–10+ years of experience in MEP design, consultancy, or construction (depending on seniority level).
