Deploy & Configure Gigamon Appliances:
Install, configure, and maintain GigaVUE series appliances, clustering, and H / Vision platforms in enterprise / data center environments.

Network Traffic Monitoring & Analysis:
Monitor mirrored traffic, perform packet-level analysis (Wireshark or similar), and troubleshoot network and application issues.

Integration with Security & Monitoring Tools:
Integrate Gigamon platforms with IDS / IPS, SIEM, and other monitoring solutions to ensure complete network visibility.

Network Engineering & Optimization:
Collaborate with network teams on routing, switching, VLANs, SPAN, and TAP configurations to optimize traffic delivery and visibility.

Change & Incident Management:
Follow ITIL processes for changes, incidents, and problems; document configurations and operational procedures.

Automation & Continuous Improvement:
Develop automation scripts (Python, Ansible) and implement best practices to enhance deployment efficiency and platform performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–7 years of experience in network engineering or network security engineering roles, with at least 1–3 years directly on Gigamon or similar packet broker platforms (e.g., Ixia, Netscout, Keysight).
• Relevant certifications such as Gigamon Certified Professional or Expert, plus vendor network / security certifications (Cisco, Palo Alto, etc.), are often desired.

• Hands‑on experience with Gigamon appliances (GigaVUE series, clustering, H / Vision).
• Familiarity with security and monitoring tools and mirrored traffic consumption.
• Strong TCP / IP and packet analysis skills (Wireshark or similar).
• Experience in large environments with ITIL, change & incident management; scripting / automation skills (Python, Ansible) are an advantage; strong background in enterprise / data center networking (routing, switching, VLANs, SPAN, TAPs).
