Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Engineer with extensive experience in Qatar PWA infrastructure projects and a strong understanding of PWA Standard Drawings and QCS 2014. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both wet and dry utilities, including surface water, foul sewer, roads, potable water, and electrical networks (high, low, and medium voltage), QNBN, ITS, UGN, OOREDOO, Vodafone, as well as knowledge of Kahramaa standards.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and issuing technical packages, including shop drawings, design reports, and other relevant documentation for project sites. You will play a key role in identifying the project scope, notifying for variation orders, and ensuring that cost‑effective and technically sound solutions are implemented. You will also work closely with stakeholders, including PWA and Kahramaa, ensuring that all project requirements are met.

Your ability to resolve technical issues efficiently on‑site and perform clash analysis to resolve conflicts between proposed and existing networks will be essential for the successful delivery of infrastructure projects. You will be managing the CAD operators, Engineering coordinator to prepare the deliverables and to report the progress of the engineering works. You will be reporting to the Projects Technical Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify project scope and notify variation orders, providing cost‑effective technical solutions.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including shop drawings, Request for Information/Technical Queries, Engineering/design reports, and technical packages for site usage.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including PWA, Kahramaa, QNBN, MOI‑SSD and other relevant parties, to ensure project requirements and standards are met.
• Perform clash analysis and resolve conflicts between proposed networks and existing infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and solve technical issues on‑site to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar’s regulatory frameworks, including PWA Standard Drawings and QCS 2014.
• Preparation of the as‑built drawings based on the asset owner/end‑user regulations.

Experience

Required:

· Total minimum required experience for this position is 8 years with minimum 5 years with PWA projects for related rule.
