Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, preparation and execution of all aspects of the relevant Hookup & Brownfield (BF) activities Fabrication requirements of the project ensuring all key objectives are achieved or exceeded. In addition ensure the constructability of the design is consistent with established Project Engineering drawings & industry processes and standards, effectively manage issues and resolution through strong interfaces with company & contractor.
- Directly involved with the development of fabrication plans and execution of the plans overseeing Compression onshore fabrication scope responsibilities and duties safely, efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure that there is sufficient and balanced resources and technical expertise available to support the stakeholders, efficiency in resource deployment to support the relevant Compression Platform Complex Fabrication activities and respect of planning.
- Major challenge for the role is maintaining strong interfaces between Company and Contractor and Contractor teams to ensure alignment and issue resolution.
- Ensure all activities are undertaken in compliance with Company Safety, Health and Environment and Quality policies, regulations and standards.
- Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process.
- Lead the delivery of all Hook up and brownfield scope to ensure impact on Operations is minimised and aligned with the minimum expectations of all stakeholders.
- To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the HUC Greenfield and Brownfield construction activities to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards.
- To check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor.
- To review deviations to company construction standards for comments with Contractors / Subcontractors input, to deliver a consistent dossier (documents, materials, procured and fabricated items, precom/com dossiers, as built …) for the construction activities.
- Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.
- Review Contractor's progress reports and reports for all the activities, highlighting critical problems, drifts and dysfunctions if any.
- To Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for all structure subject, MC, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure the Contractors/Subcontractors progress follow up and reporting. Bring execution solutions that favour safe construction execution and transition to Commissioning activities.
- To lead and contribute to Risk Assessments kick off meetings and Pre-Job Meetings, technical meeting etc. as required in accordance with Company's referential.
- To participate to REX and Lessons Learned for the Company. Responsible for implementation of lessons learned from previous projects with company and/or Contractor, as well as capturing and communicating construction lessons learned for the current project.
- Bachelor's Degree in Sciences or Engineering
- 10 years experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel. Additional relevant work experience may be substituted for technical education.
- Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and field management and techniques including fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing and completions.
- Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies. Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project. Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
- Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
- Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
- Salary: Day Rate in USD Plus Allowance
- Work Schedule: 10 Hours / 6 Days
- Duration: 36 months, with possible extension
- Location: Qatar
