Position Title

Instrumentation & Maintenance Engineer (Supervisory)

Doha, Qatar

The Instrumentation & Maintenance Engineer will oversee and manage instrumentation and maintenance activities in a production or maintenance environment. The role involves supervision of technical teams, coordination with contractors and vendors, troubleshooting of field instruments, and ensuring compliance with control and instrumentation standards and procedures.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably in Production, Maintenance, or related fields)
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered

• 5+ years of experience as an Instrumentation or Maintenance Engineer in production or maintenance
• 5+ years in supervisory roles
• Hands‑on experience with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors in instrumentation, communications, digital control, and networked subsystems
• Proven experience troubleshooting field instruments including control valves, transmitters, and analyzers
• Knowledge of overhauling and testing control valves
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting DCS and PLC systems
• Proficient in reading and interpreting Control & Instrumentation documentation such as P&, PFD, wiring diagrams, system architecture diagrams, and functional diagrams

• Fluent in English (spoken and written) with strong communication skills
• Advanced computer literacy
• Excellent problem‑solving and crisis management abilities
• High attention to detail and manual dexterity for safe and efficient task execution
• Ability to stand for extended periods when required

• Supervise and manage instrumentation and maintenance operations
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and implementation teams
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and test field instruments and control systems
• Ensure compliance with project and safety standards
