Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team and take charge of all cost aspects of civil and building works — from inception to final account. The ideal candidate will ensure cost efficiency, timely revenue recognition, and maintain strong commercial and contractual relationships with clients and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all cost elements of civil and building projects from start to completion.
- Ensure all expenditure is minimized while maximizing project revenue.
- Prepare and submit payment applications, cash flow forecasts, and budget reports on time.
- Administer subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Handle client site instructions, variation orders, and contract correspondence.
- Prepare cost value reconciliations, profitability projections, and backup documentation for valuations.
- Coordinate with the site and technical teams to track progress and collect project data.
- Ensure tendering procedures and package preparation are accurate and compliant.
- Secure all variations through signed Variation Orders, ensuring back-to-back recovery with clients.
- Strong experience in computer-based quantification systems (e.g., CCS/Candy).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience in AutoCAD for quantity takeoffs.
- Thorough understanding of Bill of Quantities preparation and standard measurement methods (NRM2, CESSMMIII, QSSM, QCS, FIDIC).
- ERP/SAP functional knowledge is preferred.
- Minimum 8 years total experience, including 5 years relevant Quantity Surveying experience.
- GCC experience (2+ years) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
- Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field is preferred.
