We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QA/QC Engineer specializing in Roads Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in road construction and maintenance projects throughout Qatar.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and quality control programs for road construction and maintenance projects
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Analyze test results, identify quality issues, and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve quality-related concerns
- Prepare comprehensive QA/QC reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Stay updated on local and international road construction and maintenance standards
- Train and mentor team members on quality assurance best practices
- Participate in project planning meetings to provide input on quality-related matters
- Ensure adherence to Qatar's construction regulations and international quality standards
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in road construction or maintenance projects
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and quality control methodologies
- Proficiency in QA/QC software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities
- Familiarity with project management principles
- Experience with international quality standards and regulations
- In-depth knowledge of road construction materials, techniques, and maintenance practices
- Understanding of local and international road safety standards and regulations
- Familiarity with local construction practices and regulations in Qatar is highly desirable
