Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Supply Chain and Project teams to understand material and service requirements.
• Prepare RFQs, tenders, and bid evaluations, ensuring both technical and commercial compliance.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage local and international suppliers, ensuring quality, cost‑effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in alignment with corporate procurement policies and Qatar regulations.
• Monitor supplier performance, maintain vendor databases, and develop strategic supplier relationships.
• Manage the procurement cycle from request to delivery, including purchase orders, expediting, and logistics follow‑up.
• Ensure procurement activities align with supply chain strategies, project schedules, and budgetary requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records for audits and management review.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, supply risks, and alternative sourcing options.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar customs, import regulations, and corporate policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 3–7 years in procurement, preferably in construction, oil & gas, infrastructure, or industrial projects in the Gulf region.

Technical

Skills:

• Knowledge of engineering materials, equipment specifications, and procurement standards.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Office.
• Understanding of international sourcing, import/export regulations, and logistics in Qatar.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, fast‑paced environment.
