Offshore Shutdown Project Manager

The Offshore Shutdown Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering offshoreshutdown/turnaround projects safely, on time, and within budget. Key duties include:
- Lead pre-shutdown planning, scope definition,and risk assessments.
- Develop schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and operations teams.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards(Qatar regulations, company policies, and international standards like ISO
45001). - Conduct safety audits and incident investigations.
- Liaise with clients (e.g., QP, QG, Shell,Total Energies) and subcontractors.
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management.
- Monitor project expenditures and mitigate costoverruns.
- Ensure work meets technical specifications and quality standards.
- Oversee critical path activities,troubleshooting delays.
- Manage post-shutdown reviews and lessons-learned sessions.
Qualifications &
Experience:
- Education:
Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical,Chemical, or related). - Certifications:
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent (preferred). - Experience:
10+ years in oil/gas shutdowns, with 5+years in offshore projects. - Soft Skills:
Leadership, crisismanagement, cross-cultural teamwork
