Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Environmental Consultant, based in Doha, Qatar. The Senior Environmental Consultant will be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments, ensuring environmental compliance, and delivering expert environmental consulting services. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed reports, evaluating environmental data, developing strategies to address environmental issues, and providing guidance on regulatory compliance while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- B.Sc . in a relevant field from an accredited university; M.Sc . is an advantage.
- 8-10 years of environmental experience, of which 2 years must be in the GCC and/or Qatar.
- Able to demonstrate professionalism in conducting and reporting Environmental Baseline Studies, EIA, EMP, Compliance Monitoring, Environmental/HSE Audit, etc.
- Able to demonstrate experience across the diverse development sectors, including O&G, industry, road and drainage infrastructure, transportation, marina and port, agriculture, urban, etc.
- Preference will be given to those having Qatari residency with NOC, relevant experience in Qatar, Qatari/GCC Driver License, and bilingual Arabic/English speakers. We offer competitive full package salaries. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for an interview.
