Principal Engineer – Surface Water

Salary Package

• Grade 1: QAR 35,000 / month
• Grade 2: QAR 40,000 / month

(Salary grade will be determined based on experience, certifications, and client approval)

Working Hours

48 hours per week

Experience Required

• Minimum years GCC experience in surface water engineering and hydraulic design

• Lead and manage surface water and stormwater engineering design projects.
• Perform advanced hydraulic and hydrologic modeling for drainage, flood control, and surface water systems.
• Review, validate, and approve technical designs, calculations, and reports.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, authorities, and clients.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with local authority standards, codes, and international best practices.

• Info Works (Mandatory)
• StormCAD
• Strong expertise in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling
• Ability to handle complex infrastructure and urban drainage projects

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• MME Registered
• Must hold an international professional license (PE / CEng)

• Candidate must be able to mobilize within 14 days from client approval.
• Probation Period: 30 calendar days from start date (termination without prior notice applicable during probation).
