Environmental Specialist

Job Description

We are hiring a proactive Environmental Specialist to support environmental compliance and workplace health protection across our project. The ideal candidate will ensure that environmental standards, waste management practices, and regulatory requirements are fully implemented and maintained.

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with environmental and health regulations.
• Conduct environmental inspections related to waste, emissions, water discharge, and pollution control.
• Support the preparation and implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS) and related documentation.
• Coordinate with government entities (MoECC, Ashghal, Kahramaa, etc.) for environmental approvals and reports.
• Participate in incident investigations and propose corrective and preventive measures.
• Maintain records of environmental monitoring, lab reports, and permits.
• Lead trainings on environmental awareness, sustainability, and safe work practices.

• Bachelor's in Environmental Health, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a similar field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar Environmental Laws, QCS 2024, and ISO 14001 standards.
• Strong report writing, analytical, and communication skills.

• NEBOSH Environmental or equivalent certification.
