• Support in preparation of Maintenance Plans for Line, Light and Heavy Maintenance by compiling preliminary data (due dates, aircraft requirements and maintenance check limits).
• Support in planning and scheduling of deferred defects and troubleshooting recommendations by loading selected defects on the shift action plans.
• Contribute in preparation and development of Shift Line Action Plan and provide assistance to Planning Engineer Level-Il in executing the Line Action Plan.
• Assist Planning Engineer Level-Il in managing Parking / Storage checks for aircraft that are required to be Parked / Stored.
• Contribute in managing the outstation maintenance including the deferred defect, AMP Task or any other maintenance within the scope of the outstation.
• Contribute in work scope definition and compilation of work packages for maintenance work on aircraft for in-house and outsourced maintenance while adhering to the time lines as defined in the TPM.
• Identify prerequisite requirements like tools, materials, man-hour, manpower, elapsed time and skill needed to perform routine or unscheduled tasks based on evaluation of maintenance procedure.
• Review maintenance request for task card amendments pertaining to engineering documents (i.e. manhour, spares/tooling, access requirements) and ensure that appropriate actions are taken.
• Prepare KPl's reports for senior management and advise analytics related to the reports.
• Assist Planning Engineer Level-Il in preparation of manhour reports for demand forecast and reviewing check standards.
• Monitor the implementation of component staggering and modification plans across the fleet to comply with approved maintenance program limits, and optimize cost of stock holding levels.
• Assist Planning Engineer Level-Il in preparation of Task variations and deferments that arise during accomplishment of maintenance to ensure on time release of the aircraft.
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualification and experience:

• High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience OR
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
• Good Knowledge of aircraft systems or aircraft Engines.
• Demonstrate general knowledge & understanding of EASA & QCAA regulations pertaining to Part-CAMO and Part-145.
• Prior experience working in Maintenance or Production Planning.
