Technical Specialist - Autodesk Construction Cloud
The Technical Consultant - Autodesk will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical consulting services to clients using Autodesk products. The role will involve analysing client requirements, providing technical support, and ensuring clients maximize the value of Autodesk solutions. The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical expertise in Autodesk products (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Autodesk Construction Cloud etc.), strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to deliver effective training and support to customers.
Roles & Responsibilities- Client Consultation:
Engage with clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements related to Autodesk products. Provide tailored solutions and recommendations to improve workflows and productivity. - Software Implementation & Configuration:
Lead the deployment and configuration of Autodesk solutions, ensuring successful integration into client environments. Customize settings and workflows to meet client specifications. - Training & Support:
Provide hands‑on training and support to clients on Autodesk software applications, ensuring users are proficient and confident in using the tools effectively. - Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
Address technical issues and challenges reported by clients, providing troubleshooting, guidance, and solutions to ensure seamless operation. - Project Delivery:
Manage and execute Autodesk‑related projects from planning through to completion, ensuring milestones, deadlines, and budgets are met. - Documentation:
Develop and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and best practice guides for clients to refer to for Autodesk products. - Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, support, and product teams to ensure that customer requirements are met and technical issues are resolved efficiently. - Feedback Loop:
Gather customer feedback on Autodesk software and services and communicate insights to the product management and development teams for continuous improvement. - Stay Current:
Continuously update your knowledge of Autodesk products and new industry trends to remain a trusted advisor to clients.
Qualification and
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) or other Autodesk certifications.
Minimum Experience/
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Autodesk products such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Autodesk Construction Cloud or other Autodesk solutions.
- Experience in technical consulting, implementation, and troubleshooting in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of Autodesk software, including installation, configuration, and functionality.
- Familiarity with design and drafting tools, 3D modeling, BIM, and CAD workflows.
