Head of Loss Prevention Engineering
Responsible for overseeing and leading Loss Prevention activities in NFW Offplot project (namely LNG storage and handling – LPG and Condensate Storage and Handling and Sulphur granulation and Handling). Ensures all safety and loss prevention requirements such as project philosophies, specifications, codes, practices are in full compliance with project/ Qatar Energy LNG requirements, and are delivered to the highest technical quality standards.
Provides clear guidance to the EPC contractor and facilitate resolution of technical issues to complete loss prevention activities to meet project milestones. Leads the development of the Design Safety case and associated safety risk assessments aligned with Qatar Energy LNG operations.
Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering
Knowledge and/or Experience- 10 years’ experience in Engineering roles, including 6 years in the Oil & Gas Industry, and including 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor/subcontractors/service/vendor personnel.
- Extensive experience with Oil & Gas Companies, EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, or service companies involved in the oil and gas industry.
- Broad experience and demonstrated competence in managing across all phases of project execution including start up and handover and managing technical issues.
- Strong experience with risk assessment approach in decision making.
- Broad experience working in large scale integrated operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
- Experience of working in integrated organizations.
- Proven experience in technology adoption and implementation of continuous improvement.
- Broad experience to conduct Safety and I&C Session (i.e.. Hazid, Hazop, SIL, SAFOP).
- Experience in Fire Water network and in general in Passive and Active fire protection.
