Planning Engineer

Job Summary:

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely project delivery. The role involves close collaboration with project teams to track progress, identify risks, and support decision‑making for efficient execution.

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or other planning tools.
• Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and provide timely reports to management.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines.
• Prepare regular project progress reports, including milestone tracking, resource allocation, and critical path analysis.
• Support risk management by identifying potential delays and proposing mitigation measures.
• Assist in resource planning and allocation to optimize project efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, procedures, and quality requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
• Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in construction, infrastructure, or related projects.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and construction practices.

• Experience with international projects or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with cost control and project budgeting.
