Telford Offshore is looking for 2nd Engineer for DP3 Accommodation / Construction barge in Qatar.
Rotation: 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off.
Requirements:
- minimum 2 years experience in rank on DP vessels (AHTS and PSV are not considered)
- experience with cranes and gangways;
- experience with Caterpillar engines;
- holding DP maintenance certificate;
- holding H2S OPITO certificate.
Operational
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Understudy to the Chief Engineer.
- Effective utilization of the available manpower to maintain the vessel in seaworthy condition.
- To carry out watch keeping duties.
- Planned and routine maintenance of the mechanical installations onboard the ship.
- Bunkering the vessel when on duty.
- Perform area authority duties with regard to the Permit to Work / Isolation procedures.
- Acts as a member of the emergency team as dictated by the Muster List.
