Contract Duration: 06 Months Extendable

One of our clients, a leading multinational engineering company engaged in major Oil & Gas projects, is urgently looking to hire a Senior CAD Technician to join their dynamic team in Doha. • Analyze and adhere to project CAD standards.
• Deliver all drawings required for submission and project handover.
• Prepare accurate engineering CAD drawings from sketches/markups.
• Produce field sketches as needed.
• Support development of drawing management procedures, including revision control, naming, and storage.
• Ensure application of project‑specific drawing conventions.
• Draft complex electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical services layouts.
• Coordinate with engineers and team members to resolve drawing ambiguities.
• Perform self‑checks and review work of junior drafting staff to minimize rework.
• Configure and operate plotters; prepare plot files and print drawings.
• Participate in technical and project meetings as required.
• Maintain and enhance technical knowledge and interpersonal skills.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the company.

• Diploma in Engineering Technology (any discipline) or relevant trade certification (ITI).
• Proficiency in 2D drawing development using AutoCAD, Micro Station, Smart Sketch, or similar tools.
• Experience with 3D model‑based drawing production is an advantage.
• 5–7 years of relevant drafting experience, including at least 2 years in a lead role supervising other draftsmen.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver within project deadlines.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Oil & Gas project environments is highly preferred.

• Do you have 5–7 years of relevant experience as a CAD Technician, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role?
