Transportation Allowance: QAR 500

Role Overview

The selected candidate – Electrical Supervisor – will supervise and coordinate electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance works for a facilities management project based in Duhail. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on and supervisory experience in lighting systems, power distribution, substations, and building electrical systems, with the ability to manage site teams and coordinate effectively with engineers and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and monitor electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations.
  • Lead and manage electrical technicians and subcontractors on site.
  • Oversee lighting systems, including internal and external lighting installations.
  • Supervise lighting control systems, including programming, testing, and commissioning.
  • Manage, operate, and maintain Central Battery Systems (CBS).
  • Supervise installation, testing, and troubleshooting of UPS systems.
  • Supervise LV substations, including LV Panels, Transformers, and Capacitor Banks.
  • Oversee installation and testing of Building Distribution Panels, Control Panels, and Bus Ducts.
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure timely project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Qatar electrical regulations, safety standards, and project quality requirements.
  • Prepare daily site reports and assist with technical documentation as required.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues during installation and operational phases.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Supervisor, preferably in site‑based projects.
  • Strong hands‑on and supervisory experience in Central Battery Systems, UPS Systems, External Lighting, and Substations (LV Panels, Transformers, Capacitor Banks).
  • Experience with Building Panels, Control Panels, and Bus Ducts.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Good understanding of site safety practices and quality standards.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  • Available to join immediately or on short notice is preferred.
