Job Description- Develop detailed designs for structured cabling (copper & fiber), access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure compliance with BICSI, ANSI/TIA, NEC, and other relevant standards.
- Create one-line diagrams, cable schedules, and bills of materials.
- Conduct site surveys and field verification.
- Installation Supervision and Field Inspection
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of low voltage systems.
- Issue redlines and corrective action plans as needed.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Support estimators and project managers with scope and sequencing.
- Prepare technical submittals, test plans, and close‑out documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electronics & Communication) / 3-Year Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Training certifications from Corning, Nexans, Comm Scope, or Panduit
- Valid Qatar Driving License (preferred)
- Strong understanding of fiber optic standards and best practices
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Valid BICSI-Registered Communications Distribution Designer-RCDD
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the GCC region in fiber optic installation and maintenance.
- Structured cabling systems and data center environments
- Experience with fiber optic tools and equipment
- Knowledge of safety procedures and quality assurance standards
