Responsibilities
- Carry out the duties and responsibilities of a Senior Designer, for the Preparation of Project Drawings for various Onshore and Offshore, Concept, FEED & EPIC Projects.
- Carry out As-built updates on Project drawings as required.
- Carry out site visits & prepare conceptual study drawings/ sketches at initial stage of the project for management presentation.
- Prepare CAD drawings in line with company standards & requirements.
- Perform Quality checks on drawings for verification of data accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Prepare charts, graphs, documents, drawings etc. for reports and presentations as assigned.
- Assist in Engineering data collection from various sources of information, databases and Information Systems as instructed by the supervisor.
- Responsible for the correctness and accuracy of all the technical information indicated as well as compliance of drafting, numbering & tagging standards on the drawings produced.
- Review of contractor produced drawings and ensure the correctness/compliance in line with standards & good engineering practices.
- Engineering Degree / Diploma (Minimum 3-years full time Diploma) in Civil Engineering.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D modeling & Microsoft Office applications.
- Minimum 10 Years of relevant experience, of which 6 years in Oil & Gas Industry.
- Shall possess specific and adequate knowledge in his Engineering Discipline activities.
- Proficiency and excellent knowledge and working experience in AutoCAD.
- Excellent knowledge in MS office applications, specifically in Word, Excel & Power point.
- Knowledge & working experience in 3D modelling, Arc Map applications preferred.
- Experience in attending site visits and redline markup preparation is essential.
- Experience in preparing various Project drawings at Conceptual, FEED & Detailed Design Engineering stages.
- Ability to execute assigned tasks independently, within schedule.
- Familiarity with applicable International Engineering Codes and Standards.
- Familiarity with applicable Design & Drafting Standards and industry standard Practices.
- Fluency in English with good verbal and writing communication skills.
- Day Rate in QAR Plus Allowance
- 8 Hours / 5 Days
- 2 years, with possible extension
