Head of Project Engineering

The Head of Project Engineering is responsible for overseeing the engineering design and execution carried out by the EPC/FEED Contractor and its Subcontractors, ensuring the quality of the design meets project milestones and budget. The role involves leading and coordinating project activities between the EPC/FEED and Onplot Project Management Teams to ensure detailed design deliverables are executed on schedule to support procurement, construction, and commissioning.

This position also drives the Contractor's performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensures that all engineering deliverables are integrated with other project groups to support overall project execution.

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering

• 10 years' experience in Oil & Gas industry with a strong background in detailed engineering management of Major Oil & Gas Projects, preferably experience on a major LNG project including 1 year experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of contractor/sub-contractors/service/vendor personnel.
• Experience with engineering leadership, leading multi-discipline activities and well versed in design safety aspects of engineering.
• Experience with risk assessment approach to decision making.
• Experience with LNG facilities.
• Experience with large process unit's design.
• Experience working with major EPC/FEED Contractors in a Lump Sum environment.
• Demonstrates sound written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead and communicate at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrate ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
• Field engineering experience is desirable.
