A leading energy company is seeking a Senior Safety Officer to oversee and implement HSEQ programs for onshore and offshore projects in the LNG and oil & gas sectors. The role ensures a safe and environmentally compliant work environment for all company and contractor personnel, supporting operational, engineering, and project teams.

• Coordinate and plan HSEQ personnel activities to deliver approved safety, environmental, and quality programs.
• Develop, recommend, and deliver training programs in safety principles and practices.
• Monitor and maintain HSEQ equipment and facilities to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
• Implement and oversee the Permit to Work (PTW) system, including hot work and vessel entry procedures.
• Serve as a technical resource for incident investigation, and contribute to the review and analysis of HSEQ statistics.
• Inspect construction and installation activities to ensure contractor compliance with HSEQ practices and regulations.
• Maintain adequate stocks of HSEQ and emergency equipment, as well as protective clothing, at all times.
• Support corporate HSEQ objectives by promoting safety awareness and compliance across projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in safety operations within the oil and gas industry, including LNG or construction projects.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient in standard office software.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, planning, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently in a dynamic, high‑pressure environment.
