Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Resident Engineer to join our team for the Outer Area Project. In this role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of infrastructure project delivery, ensuring that construction activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide oversight of the overall planning of infrastructure construction activities, including roads, utilities, drainage systems, and public realm enhancements, to identify critical milestones and priorities.
• Assess the assignment of manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintain schedules, and meet project goals.
• Anticipate and resolve (in collaboration with the contractor) various problems such as changes in scope, slippage of schedules, and other construction-related challenges.
• Ensure the contractor adopts sound construction practices to attain required quality control at maximum efficiency.
• Prepare periodic reports summarizing the progress of construction activities for higher‑level management and clients.
• Ensure effective implementation of all Company and client policies and procedures.
• Serve as the primary contact with client representatives for construction-related activities, maintaining strong client and community relations.
• Oversee and manage all construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve contractor submittals, including shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals, ensuring compliance with design specifications and project requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or risks, and recommend corrective actions to ensure the project remains on track.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Chair progress meetings with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to review project status, resolve issues, and ensure alignment on project objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, ensuring the resolution of design and construction challenges.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, including Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), and international standards.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery.
• Lead and mentor the construction supervision team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university with professional qualifications from a recognized international institution and with professional career development records all as approved by the Engineer.
• Must be a Chartered Engineer (CEng) / licensed from an international professional engineering society (ICE, PE, etc.) or association with proof of active involvement and participation with the international engineering society.
• Minimum of 20 years of demonstrable experience, of which 12 years in a managerial or technical lead capacity in similar works, managing all aspects of construction management, supervision, project administration with proven record of success of similar infrastructure, sewerage, surface and ground water networks projects is a…
