Project Controls Lead

This critical position offers the opportunity to spearhead planning, cost control, risk mitigation, and commercial coordination throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
Required Skills:- Expertise in project planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and cost control for multi‑discipline projects
- Strong ability to conduct variance analysis, forecasting, and trend identification
- Proficient in coordinating commercial inputs, contract strategies, and procurement schedules
- Demonstrated experience in assessing contractor claims, change orders, and the application of Liquidated Damages
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and risk management skills with commercial acumen
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience overseeing project controls teams
Skills:
- Familiarity with EPC contract processes and documentation
- Experience in brownfield project environments
- Knowledge of advanced project controls software and tools
- Multicultural team collaboration in international project settings
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related discipline
- A minimum of 8 years’ multi‑discipline Oil & Gas industry experience, with emphasis on planning and budget control across FEED, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, well services, drilling, and shutdown phases
- Background in driving project controls processes and improvements at supervisory level
- Willingness to be based in Qatar
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and shareholders
- Commitment to upholding company interests through meticulous commercial and technical coordination
