• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering
• 10 years experience in engineering roles, including 6 years in the Oil & Gas industry
• 2 years experience in a supervisory or acting role, or oversight of contractor/subcontractor/service/vendor personnel
• Extensive experience with Oil & Gas Companies, EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, or service companies involved in the oil and gas industry
• Managing across all phases of project execution, including start‑up and handover, and managing technical issues
• Strong knowledge across engineering disciplines, international engineering standards, specifications, design, and execution methodologies
• Broad knowledge of telecom/network engineering execution
• Demonstrable design experience and hands‑on expertise with telecoms equipment and systems (OTN, UHF TETRA VHF radio systems, IP networks)
• Security systems:
  Access Control, CCTV surveillance networks, Fence Intrusion Detection systems, Automatic Number Plate Recognition
• Public Address/General Alarm (PAGA)
• LAN, industrial wireless networks, routers, switches, servers, Ship‑to‑Shore (SSL) communication systems
• Hazardous area requirements (EExd, EEi, EExe)
• Proficiency in fibre‑optic cable network design (ISP and OSP), copper cable networks, duct banks, cable/ladder tray designs
• Transition of design engineering to construction deliverables
• Leadership skills, personal integrity, guidance and assistance of contractor teams

• Fluent in written and oral English
• Strong analytical, organisational, coordination and planning skills
• Good mediation skills including conflict resolution, problem‑solving, creative thinking, influencing and empathy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Deep knowledge of industry codes, standards and practices for telecom discipline
