Role Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team for ongoing oil & gas and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have solid experience working with Qatar Energy projects and a strong understanding of quality control, inspection procedures, and project specifications in the EPC environment.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years' experience in QA/QC roles within oil & gas or industrial EPC projects.
- Previous experience in Qatar Energy projects is highly preferred.
- Certified in ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor; additional certifications (CSWIP, NDT Level II, BGAS, etc.) are an advantage.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC documentation, testing procedures, and project handover requirements.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures and inspection plans in compliance with project requirements.
- Review and approve ITPs, method statements, and material submittals.
- Conduct site inspections, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor welding, coating, hydrotesting, and fabrication activities for compliance with approved procedures.
- Manage NCRs, corrective actions, and quality documentation.
- Support project teams during audits, surveillance, and handover documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Energy and international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
