Job DescriptionPlan and oversee the general conduct of work activities related to the preventive and corrective maintenance of all plant electrical equipment, instruments and related auxiliaries in order to minimize interference to operations and optimize production capability.
Main Activities- Maintenance Management: Generate overall preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs for all plant electrical equipment and their related auxiliaries factoring in operational requirements. Execute the maintenance program within specified budget and timelines.
- Project Management: Formulate and implement electrical projects required to support corrective and preventive maintenance programs. Manage electrical contractors in the execution of new works and projects.
- Process: Develop and maintain systems and procedures that would ensure effective accumulation of equipment history covering operational data of equipment, equipment breakdown and repairs; plans and drawings. Analyze information from the accumulated data and propose modifications or new installations that can improve plant performance and equipment availability or reduce operation and maintenance costs. In case of equipment failure, initiate reports with analysis and recommendations.
- People Management: Continuously train subordinates on work‑related jobs and specialized areas that would further develop them in the performance of their duties and responsibilities. Manage team performance evaluation and support team development.
- Health & Safety: Integrate safety into all maintenance plans and methodology. Promote safety culture within the team.
