Job Description:

We are looking for a highly qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering consultancy office. The ideal candidate must hold UPDA Grade A classification and a valid QCDD Civil Defense Certificate, with strong experience in HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and authority submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare mechanical design drawings (HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing).
• Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals.
• Ensure compliance with QCS, local regulations, and authority requirements.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical teams.
• Handle QCDD submissions and follow up for approvals.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical supervision.
• Prepare BOQs, reports, and design documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Qatar (consultancy experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing design standards.
• Mandatory: UPDA Grade A (Mechanical).
• Strong knowledge of local codes and authority processes (QCDD, Kahramaa, Municipality).
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
