Job DescriptionJob Description:
We are looking for a highly qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering consultancy office. The ideal candidate must hold UPDA Grade A classification and a valid QCDD Civil Defense Certificate, with strong experience in HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and authority submissions.
Key ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Prepare mechanical design drawings (HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing).
- Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals.
- Ensure compliance with QCS, local regulations, and authority requirements.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical teams.
- Handle QCDD submissions and follow up for approvals.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical supervision.
- Prepare BOQs, reports, and design documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Qatar (consultancy experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing design standards.
- Mandatory: UPDA Grade A (Mechanical).
- Strong knowledge of local codes and authority processes (QCDD, Kahramaa, Municipality).
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
