ELV Design Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prepare comprehensive documentation for ELV systems including (but not limited to): CCTV, Active & Passive Networks, Access Control (ACS), Fire Alarm, BMS, LCS, Public Address, AV, GRMS, Digital Signage, and IPTV.
• Deliver all necessary technical documents such as detailed drawings, material submittals, power/load calculations (e.g., UPS), storage capacity assessments, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Participate in design progress and coordination meetings to align with project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales and Installation Engineers to support project planning and execution.
• Coordinate with local authorities, including the Ministry of Interior (MOI), to ensure timely approvals and full regulatory compliance throughout all project stages.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in ELV design.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to perform complex system calculations and detailed design work.
• Proficiency in industry‑standard tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and related design software.
• Well‑versed in Qatar's authority regulations and approval procedures.
• Must be locally available with short notice; immediate joiners are preferred.
