Primary Purpose of the Job:
Directs, inspects and coordinates maintenance work on Oil & Gas equipment. Manages the work of assigned personnel including allocation of operational availability and reliability at all times. Schedules workloads and sets priorities including inspections of production operations to ensure their safe and efficient operation. Provides technical assistance. Maintains equipment documentation, movable lists, drawings and input to the database for new equipment.
Ensures SAP records are updated, and provides all technical records according to ISO standards. Troubleshoots plant equipment, coaches and appraises staff performance, and develops staff for contractor work.
- Minimum 10 years experience in maintenance of various equipment.
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in similar equipment in oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
- Management skills.
- Engineering and project management skills.
- Leadership and motivational skills, good knowledge of capacity.
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Must have satisfied the academic requirements for Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
