HIRING ANNOUNCEMENT – MECHANICAL ENGINEER (With MMUP/UPDA License)

We are a Construction & Electromechanical company based in Qatar. We are urgently looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer with a valid UPDA / MMUP license.

Job Role s & Responsibilities (Main Duties):

• Prepare, review and implement mechanical shop drawings (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting) as per project specifications.
• Coordinate with Consultant, Client, Main Contractor and Subcontractors for site technical matters.
• Monitor site mechanical activities to ensure work progress as per approved method statements and project schedule.
• Estimate material quantities, prepare BOQ, material take‑off, and technical submittals for approval.
• Manage testing & commissioning for all mechanical systems and ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Attend site inspections, TBT meetings, progress meetings and prepare reports/documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Civil Defense, QCS standards and relevant authority regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Valid UPDA/MMUP License (mandatory)
• Minimum 7 years experience in Qatar
• Experience in Construction / MEP field
