We are a Construction & Electromechanical company based in Qatar. We are urgently looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer with a valid UPDA / MMUP license.
Job Role s & Responsibilities (Main Duties):
- Prepare, review and implement mechanical shop drawings (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting) as per project specifications.
- Coordinate with Consultant, Client, Main Contractor and Subcontractors for site technical matters.
- Monitor site mechanical activities to ensure work progress as per approved method statements and project schedule.
- Estimate material quantities, prepare BOQ, material take‑off, and technical submittals for approval.
- Manage testing & commissioning for all mechanical systems and ensure QA/QC compliance.
- Attend site inspections, TBT meetings, progress meetings and prepare reports/documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Civil Defense, QCS standards and relevant authority regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Valid UPDA/MMUP License (mandatory)
- Minimum 7 years experience in Qatar
- Experience in Construction / MEP field
