Yard Engineering Lead

The role provides on-site engineering leadership and technical support to fabrication yard construction and commissioning activities, ensuring smooth transition from engineering to fabrication and commissioning. You will act as the key interface between the yard and the engineering design office, ensuring compliance with international standards, project specifications, and best practices across all engineering disciplines.

• Provide follow-on engineering support during fabrication and commissioning
• Resolve site engineering issues and manage engineering queries/redlines
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary SMEs and manage technical deviations
• Ensure proper management of change for field-initiated design updates
• Support FATs, SATs, and commissioning activities
• Ensure timely issuance and close-out of engineering deliverables
• Support equipment handover to operations

• ✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• ✔ Minimum 8+ years of engineering experience in major oil & gas projects
• ✔ Strong knowledge of offshore facilities design, construction, and operations
• ✔ Experience across multi-disciplinary engineering (mechanical, piping, E&I, ICSS, structural, etc.)
• ✔ Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• ✔ Ability to work in multicultural, multi-disciplinary project teams
