As System HSE Engineer you will respond/report to the Lead / Manager and be part of COMP2 project within the HSE Department.
How can you support us? Here are below your responsibilities:Mission
Your role is critical in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all project phases.
Assist in the development and implementation of the Company’s HSE Management System, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and standards.
Tasks- Develop and manage the Company HSE Management System in alignment with policies, standards, legislation, and operational procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the HSE Management System.
- Support procurement processes by assessing suppliers and subcontractors for HSE compliance.
- Deliver training programs to ensure personnel can effectively implement the HSE Management System.
- Promote HSE awareness and training initiatives across all organizational levels.
- Participate in and conduct HSE audits.
- Stay updated on evolving HSE legislation and provide expert guidance to line management.
- Contribute to external HSE communication reports.
- Perform statistical analysis and prepare HSE reports.
- Ensure all subcontractor design and construction activities comply with project HSE requirements, local legislation, and international standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Develop and implement project-specific HSE plans and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain an HSE audit program and follow up on corrective actions.
- Maintain and monitor the HSE actions register.
- Act as the focal point for documentation control across all project sites.
- Prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports, including statistics, proactive and lagging indicators, and training records.
- Support HSE Managers, Coordinators, and the Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator in tracking and closing HSE actions.
- Propose and develop communication materials, performance analyses, visual dashboards, and HSE awareness initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering or a related HSE discipline
- 5+ years of experience in Oil and Gas field / EPC projects
