Acutetech Consulting Group is growing rapidly and seeking highly qualified and motivated Process Safety Consultants in Qatar to help fuel our growth. Candidates will join a highly respected team of industry‑leading PSM experts on challenging projects for many of the world’s largest corporations. Assignments will primarily be based out of Qatar, KSA and other GCC countries, and offer a competitive salary, bonus and benefits based on experience and position.
WhatYou’ll Do
As part of Acu Tech’s Qatar team, you will work directly with clients on projects spanning all aspects of process safety and risk management. Successful candidates will proactively apply engineering and problem‑solving skills to meet challenging safety and business objectives while seeking leadership and growth opportunities. You will be expected to be highly technical, self‑motivated, independent, organized, able to work effectively under direction of senior engineers, and to handle multiple work assignments and projects.
What’sRequired
- Senior Consultants: 10‑15+ years’ experience required; ability to develop and lead cross‑functional teams, manage client relationships, develop business and utilize strong project and people‑management skills.
- Consultants: 5‑10+ years’ experience; self‑motivated, independent, organized, able to work effectively under direction of senior engineers, handle multiple work assignments and projects, and seek professional growth.
- All Roles:
- BE/BTech/BS/ME/MTech/MS in related engineering field (chemical, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, safety)
- Relevant experience in process safety management, process or engineering design environment, manufacturing operations, and/or consulting environment.
- Ability to develop consulting business, including developing proposals and making presentations.
- Self‑motivated, independent, strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, client service and commitment to client satisfaction.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and facilitation skills and a consultative approach in supporting customer projects.
- Experience in developing, implementing, or managing PSM programs.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, writing, and implementing PSM plans, procedures, design philosophies, design bases, engineering specifications, standard operating procedures.
- Demonstrated experience developing and evaluating/auditing PSM management systems and advising management at all levels of the organization to effect positive change to operational excellence.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering technical training, workshops, and train‑the‑trainer programs.
- Act as a mentor to client personnel, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and building the client’s capacity to sustain the PSM program long‑term.
- Proven experience working in brownfield operating environments.
- Experience and expertise in PSM Technical Services such as:
- Process hazard analyses (PHA), risk assessments or related studies such as Design Review, HAZID, What‑If, HAZOP, FMEA, ENVID, SIMOPS, Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), Bowtie Analysis, ALARP Demonstration.
- Safety Instrumented Systems services such as:
- Safety integrity level (SIL) assessment based on recognized knowledge of IEC
61511 and related standards.

- Experience with Quantitative Risk Assessment Studies such as:
