Value Analysis Specialist- Clinical
Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) is the main provider of secondary and tertiary healthcare in Qatar and one of the leading hospital providers in the Middle East. For more than four decades, HMC has been dedicated to delivering the safest, most effective and compassionate care to all its patients.
HMC manages fifteen specialist hospitals as well as the National Ambulance Service, mental health, homecare and residential care services. The Supply Chain Management Department are now seeking an experienced procurement and supply chain professional to join the newly formed value analysis section as a value analysis Specialist.
This role is ideal for candidates with proven experience within the public sector (healthcare) who can drive efficiencies to generate and deliver savings targets across HMC, alongside developing innovative value based procurement strategies for all non-pay spend.
Job OverviewThe value analysis specialist will be responsible for overseeing strategies for standardization / rationalization projects across HMC, ensuring all activities within five other sections under Supply Chain Management are delivering the best value, meet compliance and contribute to cost savings / spend reduction and operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities- Identify opportunities for generating value through data analysis and collaborative working
- Manage and deliver value analysis projects and ensure the value analysis pipeline is kept up to date
- Develop strategies for each value analysis project ensuring all stakeholders are involved in the decision making with effective communication
- Carry out benchmarking and market analysis activities to ensure HMC are procuring the best technology and advancements in healthcare
- Track and monitor value analysis savings and ensure compliance post project delivery
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders within the Supply Chain Management Department and end users across HMC
- Support the Value Analysis Assistant Executive Director with the development of reports and presentations
Bachelors in Healthcare related field.
Experience6 years Value added experience out of which 2 years in Healthcare Organization.
