- Degree in Respiratory Therapy OR Science

- Must have a valid license to practice from country of origin.
- Must be eligible for registration and licensing in the State of Qatar.

Experience:
2 years’ experience as a senior pulmonary function technician in the field of pulmonary sleep medicine diagnostic areas.
As a Senior Pulmonary Function Technician, you will deliver advanced respiratory diagnostics, therapeutic interventions, and patient care within a modern, internationally accredited healthcare environment.
This role is ideal for an experienced pulmonary diagnostics professional capable of independently performing, interpreting, and supporting a wide range of specialized respiratory assessments and treatments, while upholding the highest standards of patient safety, technical accuracy, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities Advanced Diagnostic Testing- Conduct and interpret routine pulmonary function tests including spirometry, advanced lung volumes, and diffusing capacity.
- Perform cardio-pulmonary exercise testing (CPET) and specialised exercise assessments such as the Six‑Minute Walk Test (6
MWT) and exercise provocation testing. - Administer airway reactivity tests including methacholine challenge testing.
- Measure airway inflammation using fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO).
- Perform respiratory mechanics analysis with impulse oscillometry.
- Conduct allergy diagnostics via skin prick testing.
- Provide technical assistance in bronchoscopy and medical thoracoscopy units.
- Conduct continuous oximetry and end‑tidal CO₂ (ETCO₂) monitoring.
- Perform sleep disorder studies including CPAP and BiPAP titration during polysomnography.
- Administer CPAP and non‑invasive positive pressure ventilation trials, including mask fittings.
- Deliver medical gases and aerosol therapies, including pharmacological agents.
- Provide patient education on respiratory treatments and equipment use.
- Support pulmonary rehabilitation and patient management for chronic respiratory conditions.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, safety regulations, and international accreditation standards.
- Operate, calibrate and maintain diagnostic equipment, ensuring accurate data capture and reporting.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement projects in line with organisational goals.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and allied health staff.
- Mentor and guide junior technicians and trainees.
- Engage in ongoing professional education to remain current with advancements in respiratory diagnostics and therapy.
