• Patient Care Support
• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Help patients move safely, including turning, repositioning, and transferring them from beds to wheelchairs.
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration).
• Clinical Assistance
• Support nurses and doctors during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare and clean medical equipment and patient areas.
• Collect specimens (urine, stool, sputum) for laboratory testing as instructed.
• Observation and Reporting
• Observe patients for any changes in condition and promptly report to the nurse in charge.
• Record care activities and vital signs accurately in patient charts or electronic systems.
• Comfort and Safety
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
• Ensure proper infection control and hygiene practices are followed.
• Assist in maintaining patient dignity and emotional well-being.
• Communication and Coordination
• Communicate effectively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare staff.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
• Follow instructions carefully and work collaboratively as part of the healthcare team.
• Logistics and Unit Support
• Restock medical supplies and maintain inventory levels.
• Transport patients, medical equipment, or specimens between departments when needed.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
