Network Security Officer (Arabic-Speaking)

This position is responsible for shaping, implementing, and governing secure network architectures across a large, complex enterprise environment. The role focuses on safeguarding critical information assets, embedding security into infrastructure design, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory expectations. The ideal candidate will lead strategic planning for network security, drive architectural best practices, and mentor engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise-wide secure network designs, reference architectures, and technical documentation.
• Produce and review segmentation models, data flow maps, and network security diagrams.
• Embed security controls across core network components such as firewalls, VPN solutions, proxy services, and application gateways.

Deployment & Integration

• Oversee implementation and configuration of network security platforms (firewalls, routers, switches, WAFs, load balancers, NAC tools).
• Lead initiatives related to zero-trust access, micro‑segmentation, and identity‑centric network controls.
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure security is built into every project lifecycle phase.

Technology Assessment & Security Road mapping

• Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies that enhance network protection.
• Create long‑term network security roadmaps and recommend improvements to strengthen overall posture.
• Align network security practices with international frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS) and applicable regulations (GDPR, PCI‑DSS, etc.).
• Conduct internal audits, architecture reviews, and control maturity assessments.
• Define, maintain, and enforce configuration baselines and security standards.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineering teams.
• Work closely with enterprise architects, cloud specialists, and Dev Ops teams to ensure cohesive security integration.

Required Experience

• 10+ years in network/security engineering, including 4+ years in a senior or architectural role
  .
• Arabic language fluency is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.

Core Competencies & Skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Deep understanding of modern threat vectors and security best practices.
• Ability to break down technical topics for non‑technical audiences.
• Excellent documentation and leadership abilities.

Technical Requirements

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, VPNs, and enterprise network fundamentals.
• Hands‑on expertise with next‑gen firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower/ASA, Check Point).
• Experience building network policies, QoS rules, packet‑shaping configurations, and IPS/IDS tuning.
• Exposure to cloud network security (Azure and GCP preferred).
• Familiarity with zero‑trust principles, SASE/SD‑WAN architectures, and advanced access models.
