Principal Consultant - OT & Cyber Security

The Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising cloud environments that support complex digital ecosystems. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and resilient cloud platforms capable of supporting large-scale operations, fluctuating workloads, and business-critical applications.

• Develop secure, scalable cloud infrastructures on major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Select the most suitable cloud services based on performance, availability, cost, and application requirements.
• Automate cloud resource provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) frameworks (e.g., ARM templates, Deployment Manager, Cloud Formation, Terraform).
• Incorporate principles of cost efficiency, operational continuity, and compliance into all architectural decisions.

• Establish and maintain strong security controls for cloud environments, including IAM frameworks, encryption standards, and access policies.
• Ensure cloud solutions adhere to industry best practices, governance frameworks, and data‑protection regulations.
• Develop ongoing monitoring and reporting processes to assess cloud health, performance, and utilisation.
• Produce clear technical documentation, diagrams, and architecture artifacts for internal teams and stakeholders.

• Perform routine maintenance activities to ensure platform stability and operational uptime.
• Optimise system resources for resilience, performance, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot environment‑wide issues and lead root‑cause analysis for cloud‑related incidents.
• Automate monitoring, maintenance, and repeatable operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.

• 8+ years working in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or related domains.
• 6+ years in a dedicated cloud architecture or cloud delivery role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.

• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• Cloud Computing Professional (CCC) or similar advanced cloud credentials

• Expertise in designing and deploying cloud solutions across Azure or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems and cloud‑native services.
• Hands‑on administration experience in Microsoft and Google cloud ecosystems.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, identity, security controls, and hybrid‑cloud integrations.
• Experience with cloud virtualization, high‑availability design, and multi‑region deployments.
• Ability to create cloud strategies, architecture frameworks, and security‑focused design patterns
